Reviews for Explorer XL ATV Utility Trailer, Model# XL4 The trailer arrived a number of days beforehand of scheduled arrival date. Trailer arrived on a pallet. The polyethylene body was once damaged in transit. It seemed to have been scrapped along the ground. All elements were incorporated in the packaging. First order of business was to collect the body. There is a plate that bolts to the entrance of the body after which to the physique. The holes within the plate didn't align with the outlets within the body. I needed to take a grinder and dispose of probably the most material on the plate as a end result of the weld on the frame no longer permitting right kind match. Then redrill mounting holes. Next was once to put the physique on the body, drill holes for the bolts and set up them. Next was once to glue trailer tongue and hitch. Then got here attaching the axle to the frame. The attach point for the axle to the body is a terrible design. If assembled in step with directions, the paint could be rubbed off the swivel arm in a topic of days. I delivered two used to behers between the swivel arm and the frame mount. This permits movement without rubbing the paint off. Also the square tubing on the frame had open ends on the again and front of the body. I needed to seal them with silicon so not to permit water and mud to enter and rust the inside of frame. The hubs have been then installed on the swivel arm. The hubs and bearings appear to be of good high quality. The simplest drawback was the grease zerk used to be a straight type. I changed these with ones that had a ninety stage bend to allow for greasing without disposing of the wheels. The wheels and tires also appear to be of excellent high quality.

Overall the product is smartly made. For 1300 dollars I was once expecting rather more. With a bit additional attention, the company would have a very good product. If the product had been on hand for me to peer prior to buy, I would have not paid this a lot for it.
